  • Can I bring in my own concessions?

    No. As an independent theater, concessions sales make up a large portion of our profit, so we greatly appreciate you purchasing snacks and drinks from us! If our staff finds you with outside food or drink, it will be confiscated. If our staff finds you with outside alcohol, you will be asked to leave immediately. Water bottles are allowed.

     

    If you are coming to the Majestic from a local restaurant and have left-overs, we are happy to hold them at the counter while you watch your movie, but you cannot enjoy them at the Majestic, including inside the lobby.

     

    In some cases, renters are allowed to bring in their own concessions, but not anything that we sell at the Majestic.

  • What is the Majestic’s refund policy?

    We do not offer refunds. We also cannot switch tickets around once they have been purchased. 

  • Does the Majestic have Assisted Listening Devices?

    Yes! We have both Closed Captioning Devices and Assisted Listening Headphones. The Assisted Listening Headphones have two modes - one that plays the movie with adjustable volume - and one that plays a descriptive narration of the movie. Just ask our staff behind the counter for eithr device and they can get you set up to enjoy the movie!

  • Does the Majestic really have a full bar?

    Yes! And we have since 2006! We take great pride in offering beers on tap, fine wine, and delicious cocktails. We also have a drink fridge stacked with non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Do I need to pre-buy tickets online?

    We very rarely sell out of regular movie showings at the Majestic, so pre-purchasing tickets online is not typically necessary. The Majestic is a very small theater, and we sell tickets and concessions at the same counter. If you pre-buy tickets online, you are unfortunately not able to skip the line to get in. Customers with pre-bought tickets should wait in the line to check in for their movie.

  • How early should I show up for a movie?

    We open 30 minutes before our first showtime of the day. Before then, our team needs to keep our lobby closed to prepare for the day. We recommend showing up 15 minutes before your scheduled movie time to ensure you can get in before the movie begins. During peak tourist season in Crested Butte (Christmas, Spring Break, 4th of July), we see larger crowds and recommend arriving 30 minutes early.

  • I am interested in pre-show advertising. Who do I contact?

  • What movies are showing next at the Majestic?

    Check out our calendar of upcoming movies and events! We don’t always know our movie selections far ahead of time, but we keep the calendar updated when we confirm movie bookings!

  • Can I bring my dog?

    No, unfortunately dogs or pets of any kind are not allowed at the Majestic. You may notice our staff members’ dogs in the lobby - these furry friends are highly trained popcorn vacuums and unfortunately we do not have room on the staff for any more cleaners. Please keep your pets outside of the Majestic.
